The first one, General Teaching on Law and Government, was first published in 1915 as part of a textbook for gymnasia. The second one, On the Essence of the Sense of Justice, was written in 1919 but first published only in 1956 in Germany. The latter work is still one of the most significant in Russian legal thought. Also included is a biographical essay about I. Il`in by professor of law A. Tomsinov. Other books by I.
