The Brothers M.V. and S.V. Sabashnikov have an important place in Russian culture thanks to their publishing and cultural activities in the period 1891-1930 in Moscow. This is the second updated and enlarged edition of the memoirs of one of the brothers about their family, their social and educational activities, before and after the revolution, their relations with Soviet authorities, authors and publishing programs. Mikhail Sabashnikov (1871-1943) was successful in several businesses, and belonged to the Russian economic and cultural elite.
