The Brothers M.V. and S.V. Sabashnikov have an important place in Russian culture thanks to their publishing and cultural activities in the period 1891-1930 in Moscow. Mikhail Sabashnikov (1871-1943) was successful in several businesses, and belonged to the Russian economic and cultural elite.
