The collective of contributors to this book starts with acknowledgement that the country known as the Russian Federation is doomed to be a supplier of natural resources for the rest her life if the country won`t change the course of its economic and social development. A group of Russian intellectuals created a new ideology and program for Russia which they called "The Russian doctrine". The contributors analyze the results of recent reforms, find them very unsatisfactory, and formulate new goals and strategies. This document is interesting as a piece of new Russian-born ideology and as a possible practical guide for the politicians who will come after Putin.
