This album contains a unique collection of Russian heirlooms, truly rare works of art of enduring esthetic value: icons, crowns, robes, weapons, tableware, and jewelry made by Russian craftsmen and masters of other nations living in Russia. The album includes 148 watercolors by the Russian artist F.S. Solntsev (1801-1892) who spent most of his artistic life painting objects of art. Even photography could hardly reproduce the finest lines, hues, patterns, and colors as well as he did by hand.
