This is a book about all the superintendents of the Kremlin from 1918 to 1953: P. Mal`kov, R. Peterson, P. Tkalun, F. Rogov, and N. Spiridonov. None of these people were public figures, and therefore were unknown to a wide audience except for Mal`kov, who published his book Zapiski Komendanta Kremlia. Superintendents were actively involved in the political life of the Kremlin and of their time, and some of them finished their lives in prison. Bibliographical references.
