This is a book about all the superintendents of the Kremlin from 1918 to 1953: P. Mal`kov, R. Peterson, P. Tkalun, F. Rogov, and N. Spiridonov. None of these people were public figures, and therefore were unknown to a wide audience except for Mal`kov, who published his book Zapiski Komendanta Kremlia.
