This monograph is about the poetic cosmology of Osip Mandel`shtam (1891-1938) which is studied in the context of Russian language and poetic tradition in the line of ascent to Aleksandr Pushkin. One of the chapters compares verses about Moscow of the two poets Madel`shtam and M. Tsvetaeva. The author studies their lexics and grammar and shows the differences in operating and understanding of "world", "space", and "time" by these two poets.
