This collection of forty-four letters of Nikolai Kliev (1884-1937), a peasant from the Russian North, one of the brightest poets of religious orientation, shows the history of artistic gravitation between the two great poets, and of Kliuev`s admiration of Blok. This acquaintance lasted almost four years: 1907-1915. Although Blok`s letters have not been found, some of them can be reconstructed from Kliuev`s answers to them. Also included are Kliuev`s essay "S Rodnogo Berega" about Blok and Kliuev`s letters to V. Briusov and his wife. Comments by famous historian of Russian literature Konstantin Azadovskii.
