Language: Russian and EnglishThis series, started by a new publisher Arts-Interpress, aims to introduce American poetry to the Russian speaking audience. The first poet Eamon Grennan (born in Ireland in 1941, lives in the USA) is introduced by Billy Collins, poet-laureate of the USA in 2002. Russian translations are made by Russin poets living in the USA who had an opportunity to discuss with authors their work, and have first hand knowledge of American realities. This series may be used in teaching English and/or Russian as a second language. Among the translators are: E. Baevskaia, V. Gandelsman, A. Gritsman, I. Mashinskaia, and G. Starikovskii. Parallel text in Russian and English
