Moscow: Ladomir, 2002 970 p Serie: Russkaia Potaennaia Literatura Hardcover. 13.5 x 20.5 cm ISBN: 5862183817 Language: Russian
This collection of articles was prepared by the leading Russian specialists in Slavic folklore. It consists of three parts. The first includes Russian translations of famous counterfeits of Czech epic poetry: Kraledvorsk and Zelenogorsk manuscripts. Part two is about falsified texts of the nineteenth century: Belorussian folk legends by P. Drevlianskii (P. Shpilevskii); spells by G.D. Knigoliubov; Ukrainian historical drama published by A.V. Shishatskii-Illich. The third part includes the so called "soviet epos": lamentations about Lenin, Kirov, and Chkalov, as well as "noviznas" about Stalin, the Civil war, and the settlement of the Arctic.
