"Inner form" of the author`s name has been changed with the change of artistic paradigms in Russian literature. This monograph analyzes role of mythological poetics of an author`s name in his/her poetics. Personal myth and emblematics of the author`s name is studied for Russian classics of the 17th-20th centuries. Miroshi singles out several types of name expressiveness: rhetorical-emblematic (Lomonosov, Derzhavin); classical type (Pushkin, Gogol, Dostoevskii, Leskov); modern (Sologub, Belyi, Akhmatova); interpretative (Zhukovskii, Briusov, Bulgakov, Nabokov; collective myth (Zabolotskii, Shukshin).
