This is a collection of 222 documents reflecting the efforts of the Russian political police in their fight against political terrorism. The history of the fight against political terror is also a history of various groups and ideologies within the revolutionary movement, on one side, and of tactics for fighting against them, on the other. In confronting terrorists the Russian secret police did not really deal with the roots or reasons for their antisocial activity, and therefore failed.
