This twenty-second volume in the series on the folklore of the peoples of Siberia and the Far East completes the publication of the song heritage of Siberian Russians. The collection includes 367 texts of wedding rites and funeral laments. The materials were collected in historically and culturally significant areas of the Old Settler Russian population: the Ural Region of Western Siberia, the Altai, the area near the Ob River and Angara River, and the Trans-Baikal region.
