Iurii Tregubov (1913-2000) found himself in emigration at the age of thirteen. In 1934 he became a member of NTS (Natsional`no-Trudovoi Soiuz (Rossiiskikh Solidaristov)), the most eminent Russian ?migr? anticommunist organization, founded in 1930. In 1944 he joined Committee for the Liberation of the Peoples of Russia (Komitet Osvobozhdeniia Narodov Rossii (KONR)) founded by A. Vlasov. He was kidnapped by the KGB after the war and imprisoned in a camp. In 1955 he was released and returned to Germany. This book was first published in 1957 in Russian.
