This is a collection of works about the Russian Saint Iurii Vsevolodovich (Georgii, Giurgii) Kirdiapin (about 1189-1238) who built a new town near Lake Svetloiar. He died in battle with Khan Batyi near the Sit` River. The collection includes three life stories (zhitia) written in the 17th century, including Kitezhskii Letopisets. Also included is a canticle to Saint Georgii Vsevolodovich (stikhiry) with score. 5 illustrations. Bibliography (pp. 223-227).
