Igor` Grabar` (1871-1960) was an artist and a historian of art, the patron of the famous Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow beginning in 1913, compiler and editor of the monumental work `The History of Russian Art`, and later the director of the State Restoration Workshop and of the Institute of Arts of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1918-1930). This album includes 52 color illustrations of his works.
