[ Post-human personology : New perspectives of freedom and rationality]
Introd. by Mikhail Epstein
St. Petersburg: Aleteia, 2002 677 p Serie: Tela Mysli Hardcover. 14 x 20.5 cm ISBN: 5893295331 Language: Russian
This book is a new volume in the series on modern philosophy, Bodies of Thought. According to Grigorii Tul`chinskii, humanism as a philosophy has turned out to be not much better then the previous directions of philosophical and social thought: nationalism, individualism, logocentrism, and others. Fighting for freedom and even gaining freedom are not the main goals of mankind anymore, the ability to experience and exercise freedom for its own sake is becoming more important. The author is convinced that a new philosophy is coming, a philosophy of post-human personology of the free spirit. The two previous books in the series were Philosophy of the Possible by Mikhail Epstein and The Meaning of the Possible by S. Gusev.
