E.A. Andreeva-Bal`mont (1867-1950) was the first wife of the famous Russian poet K.D. Bal`mont (1867-1942). The memoirs describing her long and rich life spent in Russia and abroad are a valuable source of knowledge about the Russian cultural milieu in the mid 19th- early 20th century. The book includes Bal`mont`s letters to his wife and is illustrated with pictures from the Andreeva-Bal`mont`s family archives.
