Bestuzhev, M.S. Lunin, V.K. Kiukhel`beker. Their literary works reflected their moral and philosophical search and their results. This monograph studies the connections between the moral and philosophical views of these writers and their religious experiences. The authors developed a renewed concept of Russian romanticism based on its national sources and traditions. In addition to well known published literary works of this movement, the authors also used materials from the personal libraries and archives of V.A. Zhukovskii and G.S.
