A historical novel about Kievan Rus of the last third of the 9th - early 11th centuries. The central characters of the novel are two generation of Russian princes: Vladimir and his sons Boris (?-1015) and Gleb (984-1015). Both sons were brutally assassinated and were proclaimed Saints of the Russian Orthodox Church. Also included are biographical sketches of Princes Boris and Gleb, comments, chronological table.
