This is the second volume in the series The State Russian Museum: Painting: 18th-20th Centuries: Catalogue in 15 Volumes. The first catalog of the museum, published in 1980, covering Russian art from the early 18th century to 1917, has become a rare book. This new 15 volume catalog will include the results of numerous studies on the history of Russian art of the last 17 years and will cover the whole of the 20th century.
