Transl. from French; ed. and introd. by M. Armalinskii

Aleksandr Pushkin, canonized as the first and the best Russian national poet, continues to surprise his readers even many years after his death. Mikhail Armalinskii discovered and published, first in the USA and later in several other countries, a new work by Pushkin. Though the fact of Pushkin`s authorship is very much questioned by Pushkinists, this book is still an interesting example of the sexual folklore of the nineteenth century. According to Armalinskii, this text is translated from a French original which has been lost.
