Language: RussianThis is a biography of Stalin`s first son Vasilii. He survived as a fighter pilot in World War II, but his fortunes changed after his father`s death. In 1953 he was put in prison for eight years and died in exile in 1962 at the age of 41. The book is illustrated with photographs and documents from Stalin`s archive, many of them are published for the first time. It is based on the newly opened V. Stalin case in the KGB (about 300 documents). Andrei Sukhomlinov was a key figure in the rehabilitation of Vasilii Stalin in 1999.
