Dmitrii Kolesov is a specialist in the biological and social nature of a person`s character. In this book he analyzes Stalin`s type of political leader. According to the author, Stalin was never a revolutionary by personality, but rather a politician and statesman who inherited a revolutionary legacy. Kolesov portrays the leader, who, though being forced to stay within the Marxist paradigm, managed to overcome its extremes and incongruities and to return the country from revolutionary disarray to traditional statehood. Special attention is paid to five myths about Stalin`s character. Bibliography.
