He was the author of the notorious program "500 Days". Leaving the government, Iavlinskii with his comrades-in-arms created a political group with a democratic orientation, "Iabloko," for participation in the Russian parliamentary election of 1993. The next step was creating their own think tank, the Center of Economic and Political Studies (EPI Tsentr). This book is a collection of his articles from the last ten years, which covers the history of the party and its evolution.
