This book is a biography of a Russian "Marquis de Sade", "an absolutely evil man": a pedophile who kept a diary of his sexual adventure, an informer to the secret police, a convinced anti-Semite, etc. This biography allowed its author to tell about university life in 1900-1910s, the political struggle among professors, sexual scandals and traditions of that time.
