This is the fifth and final volume of the chronicle of the personal and artistic life of the classic Russian author Ivan Turgenev (1818-1883). It covers the last seven and one half years of his life. Supplements include: comments, additions and corrections to the previous volumes of the chronicle, index of Turgenev`s works, name index, list of illustrations. The first volume (1818-1858) is also available.
