This is the second of three volumes about Russian musician, contrabass player and conductor Sergei Aleksandrovich Kusevitskii (1874-1951). He played for Chaikovskii and Leo Tolstoi, performed with Sobinov and Shaliapin, was friends with Skriabin and Rakhmaninov. The first volume of this biography covers the Russian period of his life: 1974-1921. The current second volume as about his years in Paris. (0.675 kg.)
