He was a pupil of Sergei Eizenshtein and the second film director for Pyr`ev, Dovzhenko and Tarkovskii. On his own he was the director of several popular films: “Eshche Raz pro Liubov`", "Starshaia sestra", etc. This book is a collection of memoirs and stories about the people he worked with, including the actresses who made their first appearance in his films: T.
