This is a biography of Mikhail Tukhachevskii (1893-1937), who was famous for his military victories over Kolchak and Denikin and the head of a punitive expedition to Poland. He was one of the five Russian marshals, three of them, including Tukhachevskii, were repressed before the war. To prevent the rise of a new soviet Bonaparte he was accused as the leader of the so called "military-fascist Tukhachevskii plot" and repressed. Appendices. Bibliography.
