This is the next book in the series Tale of Doctor Levit. It also continues the first book of the series published in 2004 (Gesharim). Doctor Ilia levit (b. 1948), a specialist in Jewish history, has lived in Israel since 1979. This book is a biography of a legendary Major General of British Army Charles Wingate (1903-1944) with a background in exploration, guerilla fighting in Palestine and intelligence operations. Wingate played the important role in creation of the Jewish division of self-defense, the Haganah, in the 1930s which became the first break in building the Israeli army. The life story of Wingate is closely related to other Christian Zionists of non-Jewish descent.
