This is the fifth book in the series on the history of repressions against Greeks in the USSR. The Greek operation of the NKVD started in 1937-38 and deported Greeks from the Black Sea shore to Kazakhstan, Siberia, and the Urals. It was the first ethnic cleansing against their own people in the USSR. The previous volumes studied the history of the operation, the technological line of repressions, and their consequences.
