The author of these memoirs is count Evgraf Fedotovich Komarovskii (1769-1843) - major-general and general of infantry, he was an aide-de-camp of Grand Duke Konstantin Pavlovich and later under Alexander I the St. Petersburg governor and the chief of police. These notes are a reprint of the 1914 edition edited by Pavel Shchegolev and provided with an annotated index. (0.235 kg.).
