This is the third volume in the series and the first one that describes the history of Siberian peasants in the Soviet period. Volume one covers one of the most dramatic periods of Soviet history. Stalin`s accelerated industrialization plan was based on severe exploitation of the agrarian population. The history of the Siberian peasantry is divided into three periods: The Civil war of 1917-1920; Reconstruction of the economy in 1921-1927; Collectivization of the agrarian sector: 1928-1937.
