The Primor`e region of the period was settled by a Tungus-Manchurian people, called Juchen, who founded the Chin dynasty of Northern China. This book is the first attempt to analyze their house construction techniques, topography, architecture, settlement planning, and classification of housing on a sample of more than 500 sites.
