Novosibirsk: Sibirskii Khronograf, 2002 607 p Serie: Rossiiskoe obshchestvo: Sovremennye issledovaniia Hardcover. 14.5 x 20 cm ISBN: 5875501472 Language: Russian
This collective monograph gives a new perspective on the history of Bolshevism, scrutinizes its conceptual and ideological basis, and redefines its place and role in the Russian history. The authors study connections and bridges between Marxism and Leninism as a reflection of specific socio-cultural realities of Russian society on the eve of the Bolshevik expansion. One chapter deals with the prerequisites of Bolshevism: utilitarianism and moral simplicity. The last chapter presents Bolshevism as a socio-cultural phenomenon and emphasizes the importance of Bolshevism studies for modern political theory. Bibliographic references.
