The current third volume, in two parts, includes plot and motif content of Antiquity, its mythology and history. The dictionary is built on many studies by Russian and foreign historians. Volumes one and two cover plot and motif content of Russian and European literature of the 11-20th centuries in three directions: biblical motifs, mythological (folk mythology and demonology), and royal.
