This publication includes documents from the archive of Politbiuro VKP(b) for 1928-29. Most of them are related to the so called "Shaktinskoe Delo": public trial of the case "On economic counterrevolution in Donbass" in May-July 1928. This trials was a breaking point in the history of political repressions and may serve as an encyclopedia of combined the VKP(b) and the CheKa methods of fighting the inner opposition.
