Russian philosopher Vladimir Nikolaevich Il’in (1890-1974) was also a well known literary critic. He was for long time in the shadow of his namesake - Ivan Il`in. V. Il`in left Russia in 1919 but devoted all his life to Russian literature and philosophy. This book is a collection of his criticism on music, prose and poetry, as well as his articles on esthetics published in the magazine Vozrozhdenie (France) in 1960s-1970s. Bibliography.
