This book sums up the results of a 25 year long archival research on the progeny of Abram Gannibal (1697?-1781), an Ethiopian prince, captured and educated by Peter the Great, great-grandfather of Alexander Pushkin. The author’s database includes data on almost 700 progeny in 10 generations, and her efforts made possible the 1984 Gannibal family reunion of 27 people. Bibliography.
