Language: RussianThis is a collection of documents on the foundation of the private Museum of Old St. Petersburg in 1907 along with the society "Friends of Old St. Petersburg" (1909), a group of architects, artists, painters, historians, and people of other professions. The Museum was created without any support from the government and became a model for other private architectural and historical museums in Moscow, Odessa, and other cities. The Museum was closed in 1930 by the authorities. Only small part of its documents survived, and they are presented in this book. 60 illustrations (photographs). (0.415 kg.)
