Language: RussianNovodevichii Cemetery is a part of the complex of the Novodevichii Monastery in St. Petersburg (there is another famous monastery with the same name in Moscow). It was founded in 1848 and closed for burials in 1934. Many famous citizens of St. Petersburg are buried here: members of the Romanov dynasty and their court, poet F. Tiutchev, painter M.
