Language: RussianThis monograph continues the historical statistical research on the Siberian rural economy prior to the abolition of serfdom in 1861. The first volume (1998) was based on account books of 1827. The second uses data of 1857. The fiscal statistical data is represented by the tax books of 45 villages of old-timers of the Kaily area. A stable commercial agriculture and meat production on the shores of the Ob’ in the first quarter of the 19th century is confirmed to have existed. Ethnographers will find a full list of the last names of the population interesting. Tables in the text.
