Now most of her collections are in the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. She also was an artist and opera singer, patron of the magazine "Mir Iskusstva" and of several artistic schools, one of them led by Ilya Repin. This book is a memoir of this talented and generous woman, which covers the period from the end of the 1860s to 1917.
