The first volume of thjis two volume publication is an atlas of image patterns of saints and zealots of Old Rus (10th-beginning 18th century) made in two main techniques of copying: "proris" and "perevod". Patterns taken from the St. Petersburg collections are arranged alphabetically by saint name and then chronologically. 306 patterns. The second volume contains descriptions of icons and sources, appendices and indices.
