The memoirs of archbishop Vasilii are divided into two periods. One of them is about his personal life as a student of history and philology within the events of 1917-1919. The second part of his memoirs is about Russian Orthodox Church history and its leaders in the 1970s. Supplement includes a fragment from Solzhenitsyn`s "Red Circle" about events of 1917 based on the memoirs of Krivoshein`s family.
