Filaret (Drozdov, 1782-1867), metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomenskoe, was an outstanding Russian theologian, priest, and statesman of the nineteenth century. The Russian Council ranked the metropolitan among the Russian Orthodox Saints. This collection of thirteen articles covers various aspects of his activities: theology, religious philosophy, administrative activities in the Church, and participation in the cultural and intellectual life of Russia. Started in 2004. Standing order is available.
