Iuliia Kantor, senior researcher of the State Hermitage, is a specialist in political history of the first half of the twentieth century. This book about the military leader Mikhail Tukhachevskii (1893-1937) is based on previously unknown documents from Russian and German archives. The author concludes that the marshal was not "a soldier of anti-Stalin resistance". Many photographs are published for the first time.
