This collective monograph continues and differs from the previous one: Obrazy Vlasti v Post-Sovetskoi Rossii (2004). If the first study was about mass political consciousness during the El`tsin period, this current one is about and addressed to the political leaders who came with Putin and rule under him. This book deals with: cultural and political contexts of perception of authorities and power by the Russian people; ideas about democracy; psychological structure of perception of power; images of Russian political leaders; rational and unconscious components of political perception in Russia. The last chapter is a case study of images of Russian presidents, prime-ministers, party leaders (Iavlinskii and Ziuganov), ministers and governors. This book is the most detailed and exhaustive study in the political psychology of new Russia.
